Job Description
The company is looking for a Railway Bridges Engineer in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role involves leading the technical aspects of feasibility studies and the detailed design of railway bridges and structures. You'll be responsible for the technical quality of engineering solutions throughout project lifecycles, overseeing the creation and review of plans, specifications, and technical reports.
You will also manage projects from conception to implementation, including scope, budget, schedule, and risk. This includes coordinating procurement, tenders, and providing technical support during construction. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients is key, acting as a primary point of contact and ensuring effective integration of various engineering disciplines.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with 10-15 years of relevant experience in bridge design, particularly within the railway sector. Strong knowledge of design codes like CSA S6 and leadership skills to manage teams and projects are essential.
