Job Description
The company is looking for an MEP Section Head in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves leading the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering teams for major construction projects. You'll be responsible for overseeing the design and execution of MEP systems, ensuring they meet all project specifications, industry standards, and sustainability targets.
Your day-to-day will include managing project budgets and schedules for MEP components, conducting site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to designs, and collaborating with clients and project managers. You'll also mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation like submittals and shop drawings.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and at least 10 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit is essential, along with a strong grasp of relevant codes and regulations.
