Job Description
This role is for a Mechanical Construction Supervisor in Doha, Qatar. The company is looking for someone with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and 10-15 years of experience in oil and gas construction, particularly on large onshore projects.
You'll be overseeing contractors to ensure projects meet design, QHSE standards, and specifications. This involves reviewing method statements, material submittals, and commissioning procedures, as well as acting as a signatory for Permit to Work.
The position requires strong construction management skills, effective communication, and the ability to resolve conflicts. You'll also be involved in constructability reviews, coordinating contractor mobilization, and ensuring all punch list items are cleared before project handover.
