Job Description
This company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team in Frankfurt, Germany. You'll be responsible for designing and leading mechanical systems for hyperscale and colocation data centres across Europe, covering everything from cooling architectures and HVAC to resilience strategies. This role offers technically interesting, client-facing work on critical infrastructure.
Depending on your experience, you could be a Principal Engineer, owning the mechanical scope on complex projects and mentoring junior staff, or an Associate Director, setting mechanical strategy, leading reviews, and shaping business development. The company values strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and energy modelling, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, IES VE, or CFD tools.
