Job Description
This company is looking for a Building Science Technologist to join their team in the Greater Toronto Area. You'll be conducting assessments on existing buildings, looking at everything from roofs and cladding to parking garages, to identify issues and recommend solutions. This involves hands-on testing, taking measurements, and developing designs for restoration projects.
You'll also be responsible for reviewing construction to ensure quality and preparing detailed reports with AutoCAD drawings. A strong understanding of building systems, architectural and engineering fundamentals, and the Ontario Building Code is essential. Experience with building condition assessments and AutoCAD is preferred.
