Job Description
The company is looking for a Civil Engineering Project Coordinator in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This role involves supporting the planning and execution of civil infrastructure and construction projects. You'll work closely with senior project managers and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with project documentation, developing schedules using Microsoft Project, and preparing cost estimates. You'll also be involved in sourcing and coordinating with contractors and consultants, managing procurement, and supporting the permitting process with various regulatory agencies. Regular site visits and progress reporting will be key, as will ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
This position requires an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1-3 years of experience in civil engineering or construction projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD is expected, along with strong organizational and communication skills. A valid driver's license is also necessary.
