Job Description
This role is for a Construction Consultant who will own project scheduling for a variety of construction projects. You'll work independently, evaluating progress on-site, reviewing project documents, and ensuring schedules are up-to-date and accurate. This position requires strong judgment to balance trade-offs and understand the financial and operational impact of your work.
You will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules throughout the planning and construction phases. This includes investigating schedules and cost records to perform delay analysis, assessing site progress, and organizing large amounts of project data. You'll also analyze the root causes of delays, track productivity trends, and evaluate the impact of project changes on timelines, communicating these clearly to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience working for a General Contractor on-site. Proficiency in scheduling software like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is essential, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Some travel to job sites is expected.
