Job Description
This company is looking for a BIM/VDC Technician to join their team in Malta, New York. You'll be supporting the VDC Lead and Coordinators by handling reality capture and layout tasks for major construction projects.
Your role will involve verifying model data against site conditions, generating reports on field impacts, and resolving complex layout issues. You'll also be involved in preparing as-built data and evaluating construction installations against 3D models, and potentially creating shop drawing level models.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree being a plus. Some experience with laser scanning and robotic total stations is beneficial, as is a good understanding of MEP systems and current industry installation practices.
If you're keen to get hands-on with BIM technology in a practical construction setting, this could be a great fit.
