Job Description
The company is looking for a Site Engineer to join their team in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia. This role involves conducting site visits, preparing proposals and reports, and managing installation sites. You'll need a good understanding of DC & AC electrical systems and IT networking, with experience in design, installation, and troubleshooting.
Your responsibilities will include preparing bills of materials, managing material purchases, and providing technical support throughout the tender process. You'll also be liaising with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and managing design changes. Coordinating with grid operators for interconnection and overseeing test and commissioning activities will be key.
The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least one year of experience in the electrical industry. Familiarity with AutoCAD is required, and experience with C&I solar projects is a plus. A willingness to travel and a car for work-related travel are essential. Fresh graduates with a strong foundation in electrical systems are encouraged to apply.
