Job Description
This company is looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator to join their team in Milwaukie, Oregon. You'll be working with electrical, architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings to create fully coordinated electrical installations using 3D modeling.
Your role will involve collaborating closely with construction teams to develop installation drawings and work packets for prefabrication. You'll also be responsible for attending and coordinating BIM/clash detection meetings, managing multiple jobs independently, and communicating effectively with project management and field teams about job issues.
Key responsibilities include generating detailed drawings for concrete slab embeds, conduit routing, electrical room layouts, and light fixture placement. You'll also be creating clash tests and reports using Navisworks to proactively identify and resolve constructability issues, and posting weekly model updates. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, and other relevant software is essential.
