Job Description
This company is looking for a Design Coordinator to join their team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You'll be managing design packages for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects, ensuring everything aligns with project goals and schedules.
Your role will involve coordinating with architects and engineers, reviewing project documents, and managing technical queries. You'll also be involved in optimizing designs for cost and constructability, and ensuring BIM methodologies are effectively implemented. Collaboration with the construction team on RFIs and shop drawings will be key.
The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or architecture, at least 5 years of design development experience, and strong knowledge of BIM/VDC. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential for working effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
