Job Description
The company is looking for a Sr. BIM & VDC Engineer in Fremont, California. This role is about using your BIM engineering expertise and automation skills to create tools that improve model quality, efficiency, and data integrity on large, complex projects.
You'll be developing custom applications and Revit add-ins to automate tasks like model validation and data export. You'll also integrate BIM data with other systems, document workflows, and ensure the health and accuracy of central Revit files. Collaboration with various engineering teams to resolve coordination issues and support day-to-day BIM production will be key.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in BIM automation and coordination, preferably in industrial or mission-critical facility construction. Proficiency in C# and .NET, with experience using the Revit API, is essential. Familiarity with Dynamo, Python, Git, and other BIM applications is also important.
