Job Description
This company is looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman to join their team in Ontario, California. You'll be working on the FAA FOTS Program, specifically the Airport Cable Loop initiative. Your main task will be to take survey data and turn it into accurate AutoCAD drawings and KML files, which are crucial for airport communication infrastructure.
You'll be processing GPS coordinate data, plotting it on maps, and creating detailed drawings of manhole structures and cable routes. This role requires a good eye for detail and the ability to work with geospatial information, ensuring all documentation meets precise engineering standards.
You'll also collaborate with the field survey team to understand their data and notes, and ensure your drawings are up to date and accurate. If you have a solid background in AutoCAD and experience with geospatial data, this could be a great fit.
