Job Description
The company is seeking a Senior Architectural Draftsman to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves preparing detailed architectural drawings, including shop and as-built drawings, primarily using AutoCAD. You'll be collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure designs are accurate and practical for construction.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing and updating drawings based on feedback and site needs, making sure all documentation adheres to project specifications and local regulations. You'll also work with MEP and structural teams to integrate designs and provide technical support to site teams for any drawing-related issues. Maintaining organized drawing control and documentation is key.
To be successful, you'll need a diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field, with at least seven years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman. Crucially, you must have prior experience in the UAE construction industry, ideally with main construction companies, and a strong background in building projects like hotels, residential, or commercial high-rises. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with Revit/BIM experience being a plus.
