This role involves creating detailed engineering drawings for munitions packaging, handling, storage, and transportation systems. You'll be working closely with engineers to prepare precise designs, tackling complex and original concepts. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that manufacturing, assembly, and installation processes are considered and resolved within the drawings. You'll primarily use AutoCAD and Creo software, applying your judgment to interpret design intent and select appropriate data. While your main focus is drafting, there may be opportunities to interpret general designs from others and provide guidance to fellow drafters on larger projects. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and at least five years of drafting experience, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Edge, are required. An active Secret Clearance is also necessary.
