Job Description
This role is for a Design Draughtsman specializing in Material Handling systems. You'll be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings for a variety of equipment, including stacker reclaimers, ship loaders, and conveyor systems. This involves producing general arrangement, assembly, fabrication, and erection drawings, as well as detailed shop drawings and bills of materials.
You'll also be involved in drafting conveyor layouts, pulley arrangements, and drive units, along with detailing structural supports, machine frames, and access structures. The position requires proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor, with Tekla and Advance Steel being preferred. You'll also support vendor and manufacturing by preparing drawings for procurement and fabrication, and coordinating with site teams.
