Job Description
The company is looking for a Structural Metalwork Design Drafter to join one of their clients, a key player in the metal construction and industrial structures sector. This role is based in Saint-Romain-de-Surieu, France, and involves working within a design office to develop metal structures.
In this position, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models using SolidWorks, focusing on everything from general assembly plans to fabrication and assembly drawings. You'll also be involved in producing parts lists and technical documentation, ensuring designs meet current standards, and collaborating with production, methods, and site teams.
The ideal candidate will have a technical degree (BTS/DUT/Licence) in metal construction or mechanics, with at least two years of experience as a design drafter in metal structures. Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential, along with a solid understanding of metal structure design, welding, technical drawing interpretation, and construction standards.
