Job Description
The company is looking for a Technical Document Engineer in Abu Dhabi. This role is all about managing and controlling all MEP technical documentation and graphical information for properties. You'll be the go-to person for keeping drawings and project records accurate, standardized, and up-to-date.
Your main tasks will involve maintaining MEP drawings for all managed sites, acting as the custodian for technical drawings, and keeping approved shop drawings, as-built drawings, and design calculations organized. You'll also coordinate with contractors to collect and archive important handover documents like completion certificates and O&M manuals.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and AutoCAD certification, with at least 5 years of experience in MEP design and project execution, preferably in the UAE. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, AutoCAD, MS Project, and documentation control is essential.
