Job Description
The company is looking for a Design Engineer to join a significant Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland, for a two-year contract. This role involves developing and coordinating engineering design packages, ensuring they meet all project specifications, client needs, and regulatory standards.
You'll be working closely with various teams, consultants, and contractors, managing the interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and civil designs. A key part of the job is reviewing drawings and technical documents, attending design meetings, and proactively resolving any design clashes or technical issues that arise.
To be successful, you should have prior experience as a Design Engineer on large-scale construction projects, ideally within Data Centres or Mission Critical facilities. A solid grasp of engineering design principles and construction processes is essential, along with proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are also vital, and you must be willing to work on-site in Finland on a freelance basis.
