Job Description
This role is for a Structural Technician specializing in dams, power lines, and electrical substations in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. You'll be involved in designing and preparing drawings for energy development projects, working closely with engineers and other technicians. Occasional site visits for surveys and work monitoring are part of the job.
You will collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, assisting engineers with design tasks and preparing plans and specifications. There's also an opportunity to take on project lead or discipline responsibilities. A DEC in Civil Engineering with at least 7 years of structural experience, particularly with Hydro-Québec substations, is required. Proficiency in French, AutoCAD, and a Construction Safety Card (ASP) are also necessary.
