Job Description
This role is for a Process Safety / Refrigeration Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in process safety and industrial refrigeration. The company is looking for someone to support process hazard analyses and the safe design of ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems for clients in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial biotechnology sectors.
You'll be involved in planning and facilitating hazard analyses like HAZOP and LOPA, reviewing process safety information, and writing technical reports. The position also includes supporting Process Safety Management programs and conducting site inspections.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, be a registered P.Eng. or EIT, and be familiar with refrigeration systems and relevant codes and standards. Bilingualism in French and English is required.
