Job Description
The company is looking for a Low-Current Systems Designer with Telecommunications qualifications to join their team in Gliwice, Poland. This role involves designing various low-current systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, access control, and fire detection. You'll also be responsible for designing structured cabling networks for both operational technology (OT) and building technology (BT).
Your day-to-day will include creating technological diagrams, selecting appropriate equipment and components, and developing comprehensive technical documentation. This includes writing system descriptions, data sheets, and lists of devices. You will also be creating drawings for equipment layout and cable routing, working closely with the lead engineer, and coordinating with other disciplines.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in a similar design position, ideally within chemical, petrochemical, or advanced technology sectors. A technical university degree and construction qualifications in telecommunications installations are required. Proficiency in English and Polish is also essential, along with the ability to work in Poland. Experience with design support software like Revit and AutoCAD, along with knowledge of international design standards, would be beneficial.
