This role involves the preliminary and detailed design of bridges and other civil structures for various clients across Ontario and Canada. You'll be part of a highly experienced bridge engineering team, contributing to interesting and challenging projects. The position requires carrying out inspections, structural analysis, and design, as well as managing projects and coordinating design teams. You will also be responsible for preparing drawings, specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates, along with providing QA/QC and construction support. To be successful, you'll need a Civil Engineering degree, a Professional Engineer license with 3-7 years of Canadian bridge engineering experience, and a strong understanding of current bridge technologies and design codes. Experience with structural analysis software and report writing is also essential.
