Job Description
The company is looking for a Structural Inspector to join a building project in Abu Dhabi. This role is all about ensuring that structural work on site meets all the required standards and specifications. You'll be on the ground, checking that everything is built safely and correctly, working closely with the Resident Engineer and design teams.
Your day-to-day will involve reviewing drawings and contract documents, observing construction activities, and conducting thorough inspections. You'll also be responsible for documenting progress, materials, and manpower, and making sure all quality control and safety procedures are followed. A good understanding of structural engineering principles and local building codes is key.
This position requires at least 8 years of experience in structural inspection for large building projects, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the UAE for at least 5 years. A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering is also necessary.
If you have a keen eye for detail and a solid background in structural quality assurance, this could be a great fit for you.
