Job Description
This role involves ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance on major infrastructure projects, particularly in tunneling and elevated structures. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs, monitoring workplace hazards, and investigating incidents.
The company is looking for someone with at least seven years of HSE experience, specifically on large construction projects. Essential experience includes tunneling works (TBM, NATM, Cut & Cover) and viaduct/elevated structures. Prior work on high-speed rail, railway, or metro projects is also a must.
A strong understanding of HSE legislation, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems is required. Proficiency in incident investigation and hazard identification is key. While not mandatory, certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, First Aid, and Fire Warden are preferred.
