Job Description
This company is looking for an Electrical BIM Modeler to join their team. You'll be responsible for creating and managing 3D BIM models, working closely with contractors and engineers to ensure accuracy and resolve any design conflicts. Your role will involve producing efficient electrical installation drawings and applying your BIM/VDC knowledge to size and specify raceway and wire routing for various electrical systems, adhering to relevant codes and standards.
You'll be using industry-standard BIM tools like Revit and AutoCAD, along with collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MEP construction drawings and specifications, and the ability to produce wire routing layouts and Bills of Materials. This is a remote position, requiring you to be self-directed and adaptable to changing project needs.
