Job Description
The company is looking for an Electrical Layout Designer to join a technically demanding industrial/energy project. This role involves 3D/2D design, equipment integration, and electrical modeling using CATIA.
You will be responsible for creating and modifying electrical layout 3D models, designing and integrating harnesses, supports, panels, and cable trays. The position also requires creating 2D drawings, compiling technical documentation, and utilizing CATIA EHI/EHA (or EQT/SSR) modules. Collaboration in technical meetings with other disciplines and potential work in a modeling/IPO cell with the client are also part of the role.
The ideal candidate has 3 to 15 years of experience in electrical/electromechanical design, layout, or integration, with proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 and its relevant modules. Experience in 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and knowledge of industrial environments like energy and complex projects are essential. A rigorous approach, adaptability, and good client/project communication skills are also important.
