This role is for a Senior Electrical BIM Modeler in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. You'll be working on significant transportation infrastructure projects, contributing to digital transformation within the Mechanical & Electrical team. Your day-to-day will involve designing and 3D-modeling various electrical systems, supporting engineers with calculations, and ensuring quality by following digital standards. You'll also play a key part in mentoring BIM teams, supporting corporate BIM standards, and collaborating with offshore teams to optimize workflows. Staying current with BIM and Revit trends is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in Electrical and Lighting design using BIM and Revit, with strong proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM add-ins. Experience with design automation initiatives and championing digital delivery technologies is highly valued. Familiarity with Navisworks, Dynamo scripting, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation would be beneficial.
