Job Description
This company is looking for a Plumbing BIM Modeler to join their team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. You'll be creating detailed 3D BIM models and shop drawings for piping and plumbing systems using Revit and Fabrication MEP. The focus is on producing coordinated, fabrication-ready models that support prefabrication and field installation, especially on complex, fast-track projects.
You'll work closely with engineering, field operations, and other trade teams to ensure accurate system routing and constructability within a BIM/VDC environment. This involves participating in clash detection and coordination, resolving conflicts, and assisting with project setup and data management to support efficient BIM execution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of piping and plumbing systems and be proficient in Autodesk Revit and Fabrication MEP, with experience in Navisworks and Bluebeam. You should be comfortable interpreting construction documents and translating them into constructible models, with familiarity in piping fabrication workflows. A minimum of 1-2 years of BIM/Revit experience in piping/plumbing modeling or detailing is required.
