Job Description
This company is looking for a 3D CAD Specialist to join their team in Wilton, Connecticut. You'll be responsible for turning design concepts into production-ready 3D models, focusing on surface modeling and ensuring the industrial design intent is accurately translated.
You'll work closely with design engineers and product teams, adjusting and scaling models for different product configurations. This role is crucial for keeping development timelines on track by delivering high-quality geometry and reducing the workload for engineers, allowing them to focus on higher-level design tasks.
The ideal candidate has advanced experience in 3D CAD modeling, particularly with surfacing, and a background in consumer products where aesthetics are important. You should have 2-5 years of hands-on experience, be comfortable building models from various inputs, and possess a detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and communication skills.
