Job Description
The company is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team in Muscat, Oman. This role is crucial for delivering a large-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. You'll be coordinating all technical aspects, from initial engineering and procurement right through to construction, commissioning, and final handover.
This position requires a solid grasp of engineering leadership, project management, and EPC contracts. It's about understanding how technical decisions impact the project's contract, schedule, cost, and overall performance. You'll be managing multidisciplinary engineering workstreams, including Solar PV, BESS, civil, electrical, and grid integration.
You will oversee the EPC contractor's technical deliverables, ensuring they meet contractual requirements and the project timeline. This involves resolving design interfaces, managing technical queries, and ensuring all engineering documentation aligns with construction needs. Experience with utility-scale Solar PV systems and BESS integration is key, as is oversight of HV/EHV substations and grid integration.
