Job Description
The company is looking for a Planning Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role involves overseeing and analyzing contractor programs, ensuring progress aligns with the approved schedule, and evaluating any claims for extensions of time. You'll be coordinating with site teams to validate progress updates and identifying potential risks or delays to project milestones.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing contractor submissions, such as construction methodologies and work breakdown structures, and preparing regular reports for client submission. You'll also be involved in delay analysis and ensuring all planning activities are coordinated and controlled effectively. A key part of this role is liaising with cost engineers to align progress with valuations and invoicing.
To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience in planning and project control, with a minimum of 2 years in a UAE-based consultancy.
