Job Description
The company is looking for a 2D/3D CAD/BIM Specialist to join their Transportation team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role focuses on enhancing their existing 2D/3D AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM workflows, ensuring consistency across projects, and supporting staff training.
You'll be instrumental in managing the production of design drawing packages for multiple concurrent projects, setting up project standards, templates, and libraries. This involves overseeing all design production activities from initial concept through client handover, coordinating with lead engineers and clients, and managing the quality assurance process for all deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Revit, including family creation, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation. A strong understanding of MEP+L services and experience with Navisworks are also key. You should be a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills, ready to contribute to impactful transportation projects.
