Job Description
This role is for a Principal Structural BIM Specialist in San Antonio, Texas. The company is looking for someone with extensive experience in creating structural BIM models for a variety of projects, including government facilities. You'll be responsible for generating 3D models and drawings using Autodesk Revit, extracting engineering data, and preparing quantity takeoffs.
You'll also collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure design coordination and provide guidance to junior modelers. A strong understanding of BIM principles, advanced Revit proficiency, and knowledge of engineering concepts are essential. Experience with US Government projects and structural design for substructures, concrete, and steel framing is required.
