Job Description
A land surveyor is needed in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, to ensure the accuracy of all survey work on major infrastructure projects. This role involves checking elevations, setting out points, and advising the Resident Engineer on survey-related matters.
The position requires maintaining survey and quantity records, performing initial baseline and control surveys, and verifying the contractor's setting out and field measurements. You'll also be involved in instrument calibration, safety and quality procedures, and as-built reviews.
Candidates should have a B.Sc. or Diploma in Survey/Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in land or highway surveying, preferably in the Gulf region. Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation and strong communication skills are essential.
