Job Description
This company is looking for a Building Science Technologist to join their team in Brampton, Ontario. You'll be working on projects that involve assessing existing building envelopes, identifying issues, and recommending solutions. This includes tasks like writing specifications and reports, administering contracts, and conducting site reviews of construction work.
You'll also be involved in calculating costs for repairs and replacements, and contributing to reserve fund studies and condition assessments. The role requires a diploma or degree in a related field and at least two years of practical experience in building science, particularly with condition assessments and reserve fund studies.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with Bluebeam is a plus. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Southwestern Ontario are also necessary.
