Job Description
This company is looking for a BIM/CAD Technician to join their team in Knoxville, Tennessee. You'll be responsible for creating accurate construction drawings using Autodesk Revit for a variety of project types, from industrial facilities to commercial buildings and renovations.
You'll work closely with structural engineers and designers, collaborating internally and externally to ensure project deliverables meet specifications and client expectations. This role involves applying your knowledge of building design and drafting practices to produce contract documents efficiently.
The ideal candidate has 2-7 years of experience with Revit and a good understanding of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry design in low to mid-rise structures. You should be a self-starter, eager to learn and improve, and able to work independently while consulting with leads on complex issues.
