Job Description
The company is looking for a building designer technician in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada. This role involves transforming site surveys into construction-ready plans, coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP elements. You'll be designing industrial layouts for well-known manufacturing clients, focusing on workstations, shipping/receiving areas, and equipment integration.
You will be responsible for creating and updating plans, ensuring consistency across disciplines, and producing deliverables like plan sets and details. Proficiency in Revit is essential for 3D modeling and plan production, with a need to manage revisions and maintain model integrity. Some site visits may be required to assess constraints.
The ideal candidate will have a DEC in architecture or building engineering, or equivalent experience, with 3 to 7 years in building or industrial design. Autonomy, analytical skills, and strong communication are key qualities.
