This role is for a BIM/VDC Manager in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You'll be responsible for driving coordination processes, ensuring adherence to BIM Execution Plans, and developing various types of models to support different project phases. Collecting and reporting project data, along with providing training on software and tools to project teams, will be key aspects of the job. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree and 5-10 years of VDC experience, with a proven track record of leading VDC on multiple projects. Strong communication skills, advanced capabilities in 3D modeling and coordination software, and a thorough understanding of construction techniques are essential.
