This company is looking for a VDC Services Specialist in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. You'll be responsible for reality capture operations like laser scanning and drone capture, processing the data into point clouds, and creating 2D and 3D as-built deliverables using software like Revit and AutoCAD. You'll also contribute to visualization outputs and support facility management workflows. You'll work closely with the engagement lead to define project scopes, estimate effort, and track billable hours. This role involves direct interaction with clients for coordination and technical clarifications, ensuring all documentation is maintained. A key part of the job is upholding quality standards for all deliverables and contributing to the continuous improvement of VDC Services processes. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in point-cloud-to-BIM production, a relevant degree or diploma, and proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and reality capture software like Leica Cyclone. Experience with openBIM standards and strong organizational skills are also important.
