Job Description
The company is looking for a CAD Technician in Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada. This role involves performing earthwork volumetric computations and developing plans and material takeoffs using Civil 3D. You'll be analyzing blueprints and collaborating closely with the Estimating Team, ensuring all CAD standards are met.
To be successful, you'll need at least two years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and a solid understanding of current civil construction methods. Experience interpreting Geotechnical Reports is important, and a background in surveying, highways, mining, or construction would be beneficial. While not required, experience with drone technology and the MS Office Suite would be an asset.
