Job Description
This company is looking for an Intermediate CAD Technician to join their Highways & Roads team in Ottawa, Ontario. You'll be working on important transportation infrastructure projects across Ontario, helping to improve mobility and communities.
In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to create high-quality design deliverables. You'll prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for highways and roads, supporting engineers throughout the design and construction phases. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, and Openroads is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in CAD drafting for transportation projects. Familiarity with Ontario-based transportation project standards and a strong understanding of roadway design conventions are key.
