Job Description
This role is for a CAD Technician focused on Digital Delivery, working with MicroStation and AutoCAD to prepare and update technical drawings. You'll be translating engineering designs into detailed construction drawings, ensuring they meet project specifications and local authority requirements in Dubai.
Your day-to-day will involve verifying existing utility networks using as-built records, conducting site surveys to gather accurate data, and coordinating with various teams to ensure timely drawing submissions and approvals. You'll also be reviewing contractor submissions and providing drafting support during construction to reflect site changes.
If you have a diploma or technical qualification in drafting or civil engineering and at least 7 years of experience, particularly with sewerage, drainage, and irrigation systems in the UAE, this could be a great fit. Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is essential.
