This role is for a Design Systems Architect based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The company is looking for someone to build and improve an enterprise React design system that supports over 100 internal web applications. This isn't about creating customer-facing features, but rather developing the core components, frameworks, and tools that help engineering teams build applications more efficiently and consistently, with accessibility in mind. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys tackling complex engineering challenges and designing scalable, elegant solutions. You'll work closely with designers and accessibility experts to understand user needs and influence the direction of the design system, creating reusable elements that enhance the developer experience across the organization. Key responsibilities include designing, architecting, and maintaining a shared React component library, building reusable UI components and developer tooling with React and TypeScript, and solving complex technical problems through innovative thinking. You'll also collaborate with engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure components are consistent, intuitive, and accessible. If you have expert-level experience with React and TypeScript and a proven track record in architecting design systems or component libraries, this could be a great fit.
