Job Description
This company is looking for a Building Mechanics Technician to join their team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. You'll be working closely with the project engineer and design team to develop and plan building mechanical systems.
Your role will involve performing basic calculations for building mechanics, designing plumbing, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, and coordinating spaces with clients and architects. You'll also collaborate with other engineering disciplines, select equipment, and create plans. The job includes managing shop drawings, communicating project progress, and participating in site surveys and construction monitoring.
The ideal candidate has a DEC in Building Mechanics or equivalent, proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, and at least two years of experience in building mechanics and consulting engineering. Strong organizational skills, initiative, and teamwork abilities are essential.
