Job Description
This company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of mechanical building systems for various projects. You'll be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality engineering work.
The role involves designing and reviewing HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fuel/gas, and fire protection systems, as well as preparing energy models and technical specifications. You'll also mentor junior designers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a P.Eng. designation, and at least 8 years of experience in building systems design within a consulting environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software is essential.
