MEP Engineer
Job Description
This company is looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in static and dynamic piping stress analysis for power plant projects. You'll be working with detailed design for accessory systems, using tools like AutoPIPE or CAESAR II, and reviewing 3D models in Navisworks or NX-UG.
The role involves developing and presenting stress analysis reports, ensuring compliance with ASME codes and standards, and selecting appropriate supports. You'll need a strong understanding of P&IDs, device settings for gas turbine accessory systems (like fuel, oil, and water systems), and piping, tubing, and plant layout drawings.
You should also be comfortable reviewing vendor drawings and demonstrating ownership of the design process, considering manufacturing feasibility and cost. Excellent coordination skills with cross-functional teams and clients are essential for this autonomous role.
If you're ready to take on a critical design package, this could be your next opportunity.
