Job Description
This role is for an experienced MEP Estimator with over 8 years in quantity surveying and cost estimating, focusing on large infrastructure and civil engineering projects. The company is looking for someone skilled in pre-contract cost planning, BoQ preparation, and developing procurement strategies. You'll be using CESSM and industry-standard practices to deliver accurate cost estimates, risk assessments, and tender documentation.
In this position, you will lead the preparation of pre-contract cost estimates and cost plans for major infrastructure projects. You will also develop and manage Bills of Quantities and pre-tender estimates, supporting the creation of procurement strategies and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to align design and cost objectives. The role involves preparing and reviewing tender documentation and conducting market analysis to inform cost data.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the Middle East. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required, along with strong communication and presentation skills. Experience in pre-contract quantity surveying for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, particularly those related to major international events, is preferred. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment is essential.
