Job Description
This role is for a Senior VDC Engineer specializing in concrete detailing, based in Sacramento, California. You'll be working closely with the VDC Manager and project teams to create detailed drawings for field layout and coordination.
The position involves using various VDC tools and software to support project pursuits, including developing site logistics plans and creating visual aids. You'll also be involved in setting up collaborative workspaces, managing model sharing, and utilizing reality capture technologies to identify and resolve design discrepancies.
A key part of this role is assisting with VDC-related constructability reviews, managing coordination clashes, and supporting fabrication file exports. You'll also develop modeling and detailing deliverables for self-perform disciplines and provide field support and training on VDC tools and processes.
