Job Description
This role is for a VDC Engineer to lead digital delivery processes within the Advanced Manufacturing sector. You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing VDC/BIM technologies to align with project and client goals, from initial estimates through to construction completion.
Your day-to-day will involve creating BIM Execution Plans, integrating tasks like 4D scheduling and 5D cost analysis, and managing the Common Data Environment. You'll also lead clash detection and resolution, serve as a BIM subject matter expert, and oversee model redlining and as-built processes. This position requires on-site presence and leadership, coordinating VDC activities with field operations and providing technical support.
The company is looking for someone with at least 7 years of VDC/BIM experience, strong proficiency in software like Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and experience with laser scanning. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a proven track record of on-site VDC leadership.
